Daryl D. Davidson, Sr. - Attorney
Daryl D. Davidson, Sr. is a native of Statesville, NC, and a 1987 graduate of North Iredell High School. In 1991, Mr. Davidson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Upon graduation from Howard University, Mr. Davidson accepted a position as an associate underwriter with CNA Insurance Company in New York, NY. Mr. Davidson was promoted to underwriter and transferred to CNA's Los Angeles, CA, office 1992. In 1993, he was promoted to senior underwriter and transferred to CNA's Atlanta, GA, office where he worked until he attended law school in 1995.
In 1998, Mr. Davidson graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa. Upon graduation, he desired to return to Statesville to serve the community as an attorney. Accordingly, Mr. Davidson worked for a local firm from 1998 until January 2005. In February 2005, he established The Law Office of Daryl G. Davidson, Sr. P.C.
Mr. Davidson currently serves on the Statesville Civil Service Board and is the President of the Latino Resource Group of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Davidson also speaks Spanish as a second language. He is married to Cruz Amelia Davidson and they have four children.
Samuel F. Thomas, III - Attorney
Samuel F. Thomas, III, Esquire was born in Southern Pines, NC, in 1980 to Bishop Samuel F. Thomas and Karen D. Thomas. In 1984 his family relocated to Statesville, NC, and Mr. Thomas graduated from Statesville Senior High School in 1998 with numerous awards and honors.
Upon graduation from high school, Mr. Thomas attended North Carolina A & T State University (NC A & T) on a Football and Academic Scholarship. After one year at NC A & T, he transferred to North Carolina State University (NCSU) where he played football for two years. While attending NCSU, he majored in Business Management, pledged Alpha Kappa Psi, Inc. (Professional Business Fraternity), and graduated in December 2002 with his Bachelors Degree.
In 2005, Mr. Thomas attended North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, NC and immediately became active in various school activities and projects. Mr. Thomas took special focus in criminal law, small business law, and sports and entertainment law. He spent two summers interning with The Law Office of Daryl G. Davidson. Sr., P.C. and The Chatham County Public Defender's Office during one semester of law school.
Mr. Thomas graduated in May 2008 from NC Central University School of Law and promptly began his legal career in Statesville, NC, with The Law Office of Daryl G Davidson Sr. P.C. He is very active in the community and serves on the Board of H.I.T.S. (Helping Immensely Towards Success). Mr. Thomas is also an active member of Statesville Covenant Cathedral. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the 22nd Judicial District Bar Association. Mr. Thomas is engaged to LaToya P. Neal out of Durham, NC, and they currently have one child.
Tonya Bailey – Office Manager/Paralegal
Mrs. Bailey is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. She has worked closely with Mr. Davidson for the past eight years and has become a well-experienced paralegal in the areas of traffic, criminal, and family law. Mrs. Bailey is also a native of Statesville and a graduate of North Iredell High School. She is married to Joe Dan Bailey and they have two children.
